Think Greene

My dear friend, Stacey, got married on Saturday.
It was a fabulous wedding and fun was had by all.
Here's Stacey and her new hubby, Zach, leaving the reception.
I love this picture (thanks to Becca for taking it)...I'm kind of sad at the same time because this is the last time I'll see Stace for who knows how long....
....growing up is hard.
So Sara and I wrapped up the weekend festivities by being childlike with Toy Story 3 (in 2D. not crazy about the 3.)
It was every bit worth the year and a half long wait.
Also, in honor of Stacey Lee Greene, "knots are hard".

Lucy in the Sky

I think I say this with every new post, but MAN I am bad at posting!! And the thing is, my life has been full of "moments" the past month.

I completed my Dietetic Internship on May 14th. I'm still waking up realizing that I can check that year off the list.

Me and Jane Gray -- we couldn't have made it thru the past 3 years without each other.
Tupelo carpool buddies -- Elisabeth & Natalie.
Natalie and I were partners and got to experience the entire year together.
My wonderful parents -- I couldn't do anything without their love & support.

After this, I gave myself a couple of weeks off from the real world.
Becca's wedding in Huntsville, laying out in Starkville, my 23rd birthday, a trip to Memphis, a short visit in Moss Point before a much needed time in Ft. Walton Beach, and Anna's bachelorette party in New Orleans rounded out the time quite nicely.

Anna, Stacey, me, Laura, and AC at Becca's reception -- yes, I am wearing the same dress 2 days in a row and I don't even give a care.
Before Becca's wedding

I wish I had more pics (as in a pic of Becca at her own wedding), but I am just as bad at taking pics as I am at keeping up with my bloggy. Sorry, no pics of the bachelorette party either. You can imagine how much fun was had in NOLA.

It's June and I'm back in Starkville -- with a new PUPPY!!!
Sara got a Westie on May 29th. She is now 9 weeks old. Her name is LUCY!!

Lucy when Sara first brought her home to Starkville -- she is already bigger than this -- but not much! She weighed 2.8 pounds when we took her to the vet Tuesday!!

She does not know her name yet nor does she understand where she should and shouldn't use the potty (outside seems to be play time and inside seems to be potty time).

BREAKING NEWS: I LITERALLY WROTE THAT PREVIOUS SENTENCE, LOOKED OVER, AND SHE WAS POOPING ON THE FLOOR!! UGH!!

Next thing on the list: study and pass the RD exam (dietitians' version of "boards").
That is what I am going to do right now -- I have never been a fan of studying during the months of June/July -- I think it should be illegal.
Oh well. The sooner I study, the sooner I can mark it off the list.

(Lucy is barking -- at nothing -- so stinking funny.)

Birthdays

Happy May! May is a pretty big deal in the Renfroe family because all three of the sibs' birthdays are this month. Sara will be the big 2-1 and John will be...uh hem...25. I mean, seriously. What happened to the days of substituting watermelon for birthday cake and drawing chalk towns in the middle of the dead end street I have always called home?? I don't like it. I don't like it one bit.

I am currently in my old room on the dead end street which has been turned into the guest room (Mama couldn't wait) recharging my batteries for the home stretch of this dietetic internship. Two. Weeks. Left. I. Can't. Believe. It.

Now that May is here I am really getting excited about the weddings of three amazing friends. One in May, one in June, and one in July. Let the parties begin!!

I'll rephrase that. I have been excited for about 9 months now. Now the parties can finally begin.

Congrats to Sara!! She won Best in 3D for her Little Bug Shoes shoebox and Runner-Up in 3D for her AURA bottles at the AIGA Arkansas show!! So proud of my little sister. Yes, she's awesome.

Not a groundbreaking bloggy today, however, I am extending an invitation to whoever would like to eat, drink, and be Mary with me on May 18th.

Love and miss.

Vitamin D

Oh to not have a full-time job!!!

Well, for a couple of days at least.

Blessedly got this week off of work/class...it's nice to share time with friends during the week:)

Started my day off at City Bagel with Stacey and Addison discussing music and Jesus. Really fine way to start the day P.S.

AC, Stacey, and I went to "play" tennis today. Despite a valiant effort and believing in my head that I will somehow be good at hitting that little yellow ball over that reasonably low net...I am still no good at tennis. I did, however, receive my daily allotment of vitamin D today. I say we mark that one down as a success.

(Kris Allen commercial just came on. Still love that guy. I found out the pharmacist at OCH is married to Kris's first cousin. Small world, right?)

Um...Glee starts in less than 168 hours!!! I started to calculate the minutes and seconds too but figured y'all get the picture of how exciting this fact is for me. Also, if you are wondering...yes, I am submitting an audition video for the nationwide open casting call. Rejection means nothing to me.

I need a countdown chain...you know like the one you made to countdown to Christmas in elementary school.......20 working days left as a Dietetic Intern. (HUGE!!)

God, thank you for this time of rest, productivity, and sunshine!!!

Love and miss.

It should have been...

It should've been my hands where the nails were
It should've been
It should've been my feet where the nails were
It should've been
It should've been my side that was opened
My heart that was broken
But it was Your hands
Yes, it was Your feet
It was Your blessed hands
It was Your precious feet
It should've been my hands
It should've been my feet
Where the nails were
